一、学校简介

香港六和免费资料是应省委省政府实施工业强省战略和城镇化带动战略对理工类应用型人才之需，经教育部批准设立的一所省属本科理工院校，于2013年正式开始招生，现有全日制在校生近12000人，教职工822人，设置有16个学院，29个本科专业。

学校秉承“知行至善、厚积薄发”的校训，把为社会培养“强责任、精技术、善管理、重实践、求创新”的高素质应用型人才作为立校之本，把服务国家及区域经济社会发展的能力提升作为强校之基，努力把香港六和免费资料建设成为西部一流、人民满意的高水平理工大学。经中共贵州省委、贵州省人民政府批准，我校正在花溪大学城建设新校区。

2017年，学校发起成立中国东盟高校创新创业教育联盟，现有22所国（境）内外成员单位。2018年学校与英国贝德福特大学合作举办的电气工程及其自动化专业本科教育项目获教育部批准立项，该项目为贵州省第一个工科类中外合作项目。此外学校还与泰国商会大学合作成立中泰丝路国际学院，与澳门科技大学，与爱尔兰国立都柏林理工大学，中央昆士兰大学等十余所海外大学建立合作关系。   。

随着国家高等教育进一步扩大对外开放，国际交流与合作成为高校第五大职能，“一带一路”倡议的实施以及人文交流机制的开展，中国—东盟在教育领域的不断深入，为高校发展带来了新的机遇。我校于2015年5月成立国际教育学院，2016年4月起，正式获批招收留学生。目前，学校已成功招收了来自巴基斯坦、塔吉克斯坦、蒙古、老挝等16个“一带一路”沿线国家的留学生117名。

Guizhou Institute of Technology (GIT) is a provincial university approved by the Ministry of Education of the PRC, which is molded into a polytechnic institute focused on engineering to invigorate Guizhou Province's industry and urbanization proposed by the Guizhou Government. GIT started admitting students from 2013. It’s currently with a scale of 12,000 full-time undergraduate students, 822 staff members, 16 colleges/schools and 29 undergraduate majors.

In conformity with the principle of “seeking and acting for perfection，strengthening foundation and accumulating to shine”, GIT regards the cultivation of specialized engineering personnel with the sense of responsibility, good managerial skills, strong practical ability and power of innovation as the foundation of the university, and promoting the ability for national and regional development of economy and society as a way to strengthen the school. GIT is now making its efforts to perfect the university which would satisfy people, aiming at becoming one of the top-ranking universities in the southwest of China. With the approval of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Guizhou Provincial People's Government, GIT’s new campus in Huaxi University City is currently under construction.

In 2017, GIT launched the Education Alliance of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship of China-ASEAN, which currently has 22 member-universities within and outside the country. In 2018, the major undergraduate course education project of electrical engineering and its automation held by GIT and University of Bedford was approved by the Ministry of Education, which is the first Chinese-foreign cooperative project for Engineering in Guizhou Province. GIT also established a Silk Road International College in cooperation with the University of The Thai Chamber of Commerce. What’s more, GIT also established cooperation relations with Macau University of Science and Technology, Dublin University of Science and Technology of Ireland, Central Queensland University and other universities which are more than 10 overseas universities.

As national higher education to further expanding to the outside world, international communication and cooperation become the fifth big functions. With the implementation of the strategy of "One Belt and One Road" as well as the development of the cultural exchange mechanism, the development of the China- ASEAN in the field of education has brought new opportunities for colleges and universities. GIT established International Education College in May, 2015. From April 2016, overseas students have been officially approved to recruit. At present, GIT has successfully recruited 117 students from Pakistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Laos and other countries which are up to 16 along the "One Belt and One Road".

(2) Chinese Language Courses

Long-term and short-term courses in Chinese language are developed in the institute throughout the year. With regards to the short-term courses, classes can be separately set up for groups. As for the arrangements of study time, courses and activities, it is able to be customized according to the groups’ requirements. Undoubtedly, not only is the curriculum provision flexible, but the classroom activities are also in diverse forms.

四、奖学金项目

学校为来我校就读的留学生（本科生、语言进修生）设立东南亚奖学金，黔老留学奖学金，中国—东盟海上丝绸之路奖学金，校级奖学金等，即全额奖学金。奖学金包含学费，住宿费及来华留学生保险。成绩优秀的外国留学生均可申请。

奖学金项目介绍：

（一）优秀来黔留学生奖学金：贵州省教育厅向贵州高校提供部分奖学金和专项奖学金，用于资助贵州高校直接遴选和招收的外国留学生。

（二）黔老留学生奖学金：根据我省与老挝教育体育部签订的合作协议向老挝籍留学生提供全额奖学金。申请人应向老挝教育体育部提出申请。

（三）贵州省东南亚奖学金：根据我省与东南亚教育部长组织（SEAMEO）达成的合作共识由贵州省教育厅和贵州高校联合向东南亚国家留学生提供全额奖学金或部分奖学金。此项目可招收博士生、硕士生、本科生、专科生和进修生。申请人应向承担此项目的贵州高校提出申请。

（四）贵州省“中国-东盟海上丝绸之路奖学金”：贵州省教育厅向东盟国家的留学生提供部分奖学金。申请人应向承担此项目的贵州高校提出申请。

（五）校级奖学金：即全额奖学金，包含学费，住宿费，来华保险。

 

IV. Scholarship Program

There are scholarships set up for overseas students studying in GIT, Southeast Asia Scholarship, Guizhou-Laos Scholarship, China- ASEAN Sea Silk Road Scholarship, and School-level scholarship referring to the full scholarship. Scholarships contain tuition fees, lodging fees, and relative insurance in China. Overseas students performing outstanding achievements are allowed to apply for scholarships.

Information of scholarships:

（1）Scholarship for outstanding overseas students studying in Guizhou: The Education Department of Guizhou Province offers some scholarships and special scholarships for direct selection and recruitment of overseas students.

(2) Guizhou-Laos Scholarship: Full scholarship is offered to overseas students from Laos according to the cooperation agreement signed between Guizhou Province and Education and Sport Department of Laos. Applicants for this scholarship should apply to Education and Sport Department of Laos.

(3) Provincial-level Southeast Asia Scholarship: According to the cooperation agreement signed between Guizhou Province and SEAMEO, full scholarships or partial scholarships for overseas students from Southeast Asia will be offered by t The Education Department of Guizhou Province and the Union of Institutes. Doctoral students, master students undergraduates, junior college students and students of continuing study are favored. Applicants should apply to the Institutes in Guizhou responsible for this scholarship.

(4) Provincial-level China- ASEAN Sea Silk Road Scholarship: Partial scholarship will be offered by the Education Department of Guizhou Province to overseas students from ASEAN countries. Applicants should apply to the Institutes in Guizhou responsible for this scholarship.

（5）School-level scholarship: refers to the full scholarship, containing tuition fees, lodging fees, and relative insurance in China.

 

五、住宿

留学生公寓为三人间、四人间，配有公共洗衣房、厨房，室内设有淋浴器、卫生间。

 

V. Accommodation

The apartments for overseas students are triple-bedroom apartments and four- bedroom apartments with private toilet and shower. There are also laundry and kitchen for public use.

七、申请步骤

（一）提交入学申请。从香港六和免费资料国际交流与合作处网站http://oic.git.edu.cn下载《香港六和免费资料外国留学生入学申请表》、《个人简历样表》（附2寸照片）、《外国人体格检查表》、《留学生奖学金申请表》，真实详细填写申请信息后，连同其他要求的申请材料扫描件传至邮箱[email protected] 。

提交申请表时应同时提供下列材料（如为中文或英语以外语种，请提供中文或英文翻译件）：

1.护照复印件（若已经在中国，还需签证页复印件）

2.高中毕业证、高中成绩单

3.资金证明

4.本科学历项目申请人还需要提供HSK4四级证书

5.未满十八岁的申请人需提供在华监护人证明

（二）资格审查。收到申请后，国际交流与合作处（国际教育学院）将及时审核申请者的入学申请资格，并尽快告知其审核结果。

（三）放发录取通知书。资格审核完毕后，国际交流与合作处将发放《香港六和免费资料外国留学生录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。

（四）办理来华签证。申请者本人持因私护照、照片、《香港六和免费资料外国留学生录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）和《外国人体格检查记录》到中国驻当地使领馆办理来华签证。学习时间少于1年的，可申请F签证，超过1年的，应申请X签证。

（五）报到注册。持《香港六和免费资料外国留学生录取通知书》在规定时间到香港六和免费资料国际交流与合作处报到注册，缴纳签证费、书本费、体检费。24小时内到本地公安局出入境管理处办理相关手续。

 

VII. Application Procedure

1. Submission of admission application. Please download the Application Form for International Admission in Guizhou Institute of Technology, the Sample Personal Resume (with 2-inch photo), the Physical Examination Record for Foreigner， and the Scholarship Application Form for Overseas Students from http://oic.git.edu.cn, the link to our International Exchange and Cooperation Department, and then truly and specifically fill in the forms which shall be sent to [email protected] together with other application documents required in scanning form.

   When you submit the application form, the following documents shall be provided as well (if the documents are not in Chinese or English, the translation version is required):

   (1) Copy of passport (if you are already in China, please submit the copy of your visa otherwise)

   (2) Graduation certificate and transcripts of senior high school

   (3) Funding certification

   (4) Applicants for Bachelor Degree also need to provide HSK level 4 certificate.

   (5) Applicants under the age of 18 are required to provide proof of supervision in China.

2. Qualification examination. After receiving the application, the International Exchange and Cooperation Department will check the applicant's admission qualification in a timely manner and you will be informed as soon as we obtain the audit results.

3. Issuance of Letter of Admission. After the qualification examination is completed, International Exchange and Cooperation Department will send an Admission Letter for Overseas Students in Guizhou Institute of Technology and Visa Application for Study in China (see Form JW202).

4. To handle visa for China. The applicant shall take the private passport, photo, the Admission Letter for Overseas Students in Guizhou Institute of Technology, Visa application form for study in China (see Form JW202) and the Physical Examination Record for Foreigner to apply to China's embassies and consulates to the local for China visa in person. For those whose period of schooling is shorter than 1 year, they can apply for visa F; while, in case that longer than 1 year, visa X can be applied for.

5. Enrollment and Registration. You shall hold your own Admission Letter for Overseas Students in Guizhou Institute of Technology to register in International Exchange and Cooperation Department of GIT within the required time and pay the Visa fees, book fees and inspection fees. Furthermore, within 24 hours after arriving at school, you also shall deal with relevant formalities in the local Public Security Bureau of Exit and Entry Administration.
